Owner's Description
Mexico, NY The First NB Ch. # (E)5293 Fr. 581 PMG 30 $20 1882 VB Fr. 581 SN 2345/U423283 pp B/126 dtd. Apr. 11, 1900. An early note from this very scarce Oswego County bank. This is one of only six large examples from this one-bank location. Sharply printed and nicely pen-signed by C.A. (Charles) Peck, Cashier and Nellie T. Peck, President. Chartered in 1900, the FNB of Mexico, NY ordered only sheets of 3x$10-$20 for BB, DB, VB and Series 1902 PBs. Look for a ladder Bank SN of 2345.
