Owner's Description
Danville, IL The Danville NB Ch. # (M)5812 PMG 15 $20 1882 VB Fr. 581 SN 12227/T630245 pp B/21 dtd. Apr. 30, 1901. Faded signatures. Only Value Back $20 from the Danville (IL) National Bank on the Census. In fact, only two $20s from this bank of any size or type appear on the census at all, underscoring the rarity of this denomination from this Vermilion County bank. While exhibiting moderate to heavy wear, the note is otherwise free of any serious problems or repair, and has four clear and full margins.
