Medal, 1929, BZ Oxidized, ROBERT E. LEE BIRTHPLACE (STRATFORD ESTATE) BICENTENNIAL, Virginia, United States, So Called Dollar, HK-774 BZ Oxidized, NGC MS63, Cert# 2614046-021. Robert E. Lee's birthplace at Stratford, Virginia. It is undated, but dates to the bicentennial of the birthplace in 1929. Made from bronze with an oxidized finish, and measures approximately 35mm in diameter. This is Type II, "no date variety". Obv. Male bust facing l.; above, around Robert Edward Lee; Rv. Edifice, below, on ribbons, Lee's Birthplace / Stratford; below 1729-1929.
