Portrait of a Bearded Garfield in suit with Tie, looking Left, J.A. Garfield President U.S. in legend around, Beaded Border; Rv. Legend, Born Nov. 19, 1831, Died Sept. 19, 1881, Masonic Evil Eye above, with rays, Wreath below, 4 lines in center "GOD REIGNS AND THE GOVERNMENT AT WASHINGTON STILL LIVES", which was said by Garfield to mobs forming in WA after Lincoln was assassinated. Silver grey (white metal) in color with reflective/semi-mirror like surfaces. An attractive and historical medal. Size: 38mm
