Medal, 1831, AE, OPENING OF LONDON BRIDGE, WILLIAM IV, Great Britain, BHM-1544,Eimer-1245, Welch 1), NGC MS65BN, Cert# 3500291-009, Oversize Holder. Bronze, Commemorative Medal, 51.5mm. By Benjamin Wyon. Choice Uncirculated. Harmonious light brown Even Tone. Obv. Bare head r., WILLIAM THE FOURTH. Rev. Bridge view, Reverse Legend: LONDON BRIDGE|COMMENCED 15 JUNE 1825 OPENED 1 AUGUST 1831. Bridge was built over six years with 40 fatalities. Dismantled and re-erected at Lake Havasu, Arizona in the late 20th century. Medal Issued by the Corporation of the City of London.
