Medal, 1831, AE, WILLIAM IV CORONATION MEDAL, Great Britain, BHM-1497, Large AE Medal (47mm) in oversize NGC MS66BN Holder, Cert# 3479122-015. Obverse Legend: HIS MOST GRACIOUS MAJESTY WILLIAM IV AND QUEEN ADELAIDE. Obverse Type: cojoined busts. Reverse Legend: CROWND AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY SEPT 8 1831|KING WILLIAM IV AND QUEEN ADALIADE. Reverse Type: ship sailing right towards Britannia and the British lion on the shore. Superb glossy gem surfaces, an unusual large diameter coronation medal.
