FINEST GRADED BY NGC (5/2017). PHOENIX CAPITAL DEDICATION OF THE TERRITORY OF ARIZONA BEFORE IT WAS A STATE. Obverse with central Seal of the Territory of Arizona, legend and dates around, reverse with Capitol building at Phoenix, legend around. Deep chestnut-brown with pale orange iridescent highlights. Struck to commemorate the dedication of the Capitol Building in Phoenix, Arizona on February 25, 1901; in 11 years Arizona would take on statehood status. PHOENIX CAPITOL DEDICATION 1901, PHOENIX, AZ.
