Medal, 1954, Aluminum, WABASH RAILROAD CENTENNIAL, United States, Illinois, So Called Dollar, HK-745, NGC MS64, Cert# 705885-001. Very Few Mint State Examples Survive Today. Only 2 graded higher than this Specimen. Obv. Locomotive and Tender proceeding Left Flying Wabash Flag above, in small letters, "Follow The Flag; on Tender, Great/Western; below May 8 / 1854-1954, legend around, A Century of Service to Decatur, Illinois. Rv. Train Proceeding Left, above, Wabash Railroad Co. A rare glimpse into the past with this SC$.
