Owner's Description

From the production of this medal through the end of the 60 "Regular Issue" medals all the silver ones weigh approximately 262 grains. Most will vary slightly from that weight. The 7 "Special Issue" or "Occasional Pieces" (as called by some) weigh approximately 300 grains and all have smooth edges. Also beginning with this medal the price was raised to $3.25 for the sterling silver medals or $6.00 for a pair.
