Owner's Description

Queen Sirikit This coin I purchased primarily because my daughter lived in Thailand for 6 months. I doubt she ever used one of these to make a purchase. Researching Queen Sirikit, I found her to be active in charitable work, heading up the Thai Red Cross. As its president she was instumental in relief efforts following the December 2004 tsunami. She also provides assistance to refugees seeking refuge in Thailand.
