THIS IS THE FINEST OF ONLY (4) PL'S, AND OVERALL FINEST GRADED OF THIS SCD TYPE (5/2017), Obverse with depiction of McCormick's reaper at center, legends around, bust of McCormick facing on reverse, legends around. Dies signed S.D. Childs, Chicago. Modestly frosted devices contrast nicely with the deeply mirrored fields. One of a popular series of so-called dollars that was issued during the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. Choice for the grade. McCORMICK REAPER DOLLAR TYPE II.
