Mintage: 309,000 (1947) and 3,975,654 restrikes (1949 through 1972). Tied for the Finest Known. This coin is from the original die re-strikes as
determined by the finish, which distinguishes it from the new die variety, and
is nearly perfect with a strong and full strike. This coin was acquired
through private purchase.
