Owner's Description

J.J. Conway & Company - Pikes Peak Half Eagle Restrike from the original obverse die. These tokens were produced by Robert Bashlow in the early 1960s and are desirable collectibles which represent an important numismatic issue of 1860s Colorado. Actual production of the 3 types appears to be was less then indicated with the Bronze issue being Very Scarce or perhaps even Rare in Gem grade.
