Medal, 1894, AL, ELECTRIC TOWER, CA STATE SEAL, California Midwinter Exposition, San Francisco, CA, So Called Dollar HK-249 Aluminum, NGC MS63PL, Cert# 4141586-006. Rarity-4. Holed as Made. Obv. Famous Bonet Electric Tower that lit up the California Midwinter Exposition in 1894; Rv. State Seal. Reflective fields, frosted devices and good eye appeal. History: The California Midwinter International Exposition of 1894, commonly referred to as the "Midwinter Exposition" or the "Midwinter Fair", was a World's Fair that operated for six months in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Its most enduring legacies are the M.H. de Young Memorial Museum (which has since been rebuilt in a much different design) and the Park's famed Japanese Tea Garden. This example includes the Proof Like Designation.
