Medal, 1914, Cu, MONTANA 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF STATEHOOD, 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF ORGANIZATION OF TERRITORY, Bozeman, MT, So Called Dollar HK-662 Copper, NGC MS64BN, Cert# 2082982-008, Finest Known, this is the only MS64, none higher, and only 2 uncirculated examples are said to exist, even though the type has a Rarity-4 rating. Obv. Within center circle is mining and agricultural scene, setting sun with rays and mountains in background; across lower portion of circle, on ribbon Oro-Y-Plata (translation: "Gold and silver," state motto); just below, microscopic The Green­duck Co Chicago; outside circle, above around Fiftieth Anniversary of the Organization of the Territory of Montana May 26-1864; below, around Admitted Into the Union Nov. 8-1889 Rev. Within center circle is mining scene with two miners; below Great Jubilee at Bozeman / The College City Aug. 5-8, 1914; outside circle, around Gold Discovered in Alder Gulch May 26-1863 by Wm Fairweather and Henry Edgar; below, around * Montana Day • Aug 8 • 1914 *.
