Winged figure of Peace, r., in outstretched r. hand, holds olive branch over battlefield and faces rising sun in background; small cannon to lower r.; near bottom edge, Peace; Rv. In 6 lines, first curved, others straight, World War / Began / August 1, 1914 / U.S. Entered April 6, 1917 / War Ended / Nov. 11, 1918; two crossed U.S. flags below; microscopic Pat. App'l'd for near edge at bottom. HK-896 Brass. 36mm.
