Owner's Description

It might not be the prettiest of my coins but it is The KEY coin in the Morgan Dollar set. What is interesting the majority of known coins from that year are in the single grade - Very Fine. It appears that most of them were circulated in the American West for a restricted time. Since many of the fake 1893-S dollars exist, I spent a sizable chunk of money to buy this example of the 1893-S dollar for my set. The circulation mintage was only 100,000 coins.<br />Population 1 of 190 with 1410 graded higher by NGC as of 2/07. I acquired this coin on 2/22/2006.
