Owner's Description

It was not my intention to buy this coin at first (at least not at this time). There were about 20 million coins minted in that year by the Philadelphia Mint. However, the Proof-like examples of this date are pretty scarce. This is only one of 17 coins of that year graded MS66PL by NGC with only 1 graded higher as of 2/2007. The coin has moderately reflective fields and is solidly struck with frosty devices. The picture does not do it any justice. I think this coin is a pretty good catch :). It is also my first universary of collecting Morgan Dollars gift for myself :)(bought on 10/15/2006).
