Owner's Description

This coin is my third upgrade (out of 8) to my Morgan Dollar Set. It was acquired on 1/18/2007. It is my second Prooflike Morgan Dollar bought in 2007-the promising beginning :)). The circulation mintage was 228,000 coins. It is estimated that more than half of the original mintage survived and was distributed in a second part of the 20th century. The population 1 of 39 with only 15 graded higher by NGC as of 2/2007. There were only 142 Prooflike graded from that year by NGC to date. This coin is a keeper :).
