Owner's Description

Only 600 proofs were struck of the 1891 quarter, the final year of the Seated Liberty design. Quarters of this date are generally well produced and show a high degree of eye appeal. This particular coin certainly does with its brilliant overall surfaces and illimitable depth of mirrored reflectivity in the fields. The design elements are quite heavily frosted and establish a stark contrast on each side.
