Owner's Description

This example is the finest known 1938-D Texas Commemorative. There are two currently in MS68 with this one being the only 'star' designated for superior eye appeal. The other 1938-D Texas in MS68 can't hold a candle to this beauty. If you are like me and consider the reverse of this commemorative one of the most beautifully designed of the entire run of early commemoratives then you will certainly appreciate it's combination with incredible toning and near perfect technical qualities. <br /><br /> This example is tied with only 4 others in the entire Texas Commemorative population in MS68* but has the amazing color to knock your socks off and say "Wow, that coin is the nicest looking, most perfect Texas commem in existence."
