Owner's Description

The Silver version of the Eisenhower Dollar was created specifically for collectors and sold at a premium, and as such did not get used much in commerce, making this spot very tough to fill. For some reason someone decided to send in this damaged coin, perhaps thinking mistakenly that it was a variety. Whatever the reason, bam, I found a coin for this example.
