Owner's Description

Beginning in 1965, the quarter, like the Dime and Half Dollar, dropped the Silver content for a clad mostly copper version. This 1965 Quarter is nice enough for an AU coin, but one can’t help ponder as to why anyone would send a coin worth its face value in for grading at a cost of in the area of 10X the coin value. But, I am glad they did.
