Owner's Description

The Classic Head Half Eagle was minted for just 5 years, from 1834-1838. They were popular for use in commerce and as a result are challenging to find in higher AU grades and higher. This AU58 example has great eye appeal, the reverse is close to PL, it has just a touch of wear, great surfaces and a good amount of luster is present.
