Owner's Description

The type 1 Gold Dollar with a Liberty Head, and minted from 1849-1854, had by far the largest mintage of the 3 types and is fairly easy to come by. This example is a very nice AU58 , it looks MS in hand, has a good strike and surfaces with decent though somewhat subdued luster through light toning.
