Owner's Description

The 1927 S issue has one of the lower mintages bested only by the 1927, by a hair, and the 1928 issues. This example has a very nice strike, particularly for an S mint Dollar, nice surfaces with the exception for a hit just beneath Liberty’s eye, along with plenty of luster, though somewhat muted by light toning.
