Owner's Description

Republic gold 10 Pesos 1870-GW MS 62 NGC, San Jose mint, KM 115. Nearly choice Mint State with impressively full mint luster, sharply defined details and only haphazard surface handling evidence preventing a higher technical designation. A truly outstanding representative of this issue, common issue in circulated grades but extremely rare in this lofty quality. Very likely the finest extant of this three-year type and currently the only Mint State coin certified at either major third party grading service, a finely pedigreed example that should elicit strong bidding activity.
