Owner's Description

Stanislaw Leszczynski,the only son of a Polish noble Rafal and Anna Jablonowska, was born on 20 October 1677 in Lwów. In 1699 he was appointed the voievode of Poznan.Swedish king Charles XII forced the Polish nobility to depose Pollish king Augustus II (Frederick Augustus I of Saxony), and then Stanislaw Leszczynski was elected king of Poland on 12 Juli 1704.
