Date/mm Information: The production for the San Francisco nickels is split in half between the two reverses. As is seen with the other mints, the steps are not typically sharp.

Coin Description:
This premium gem is graced by blushes of grass green on both sides. Some minor imperfections scattered about do not detract from the coin's beauty.

Comments:
Although this issue is not particularly scarce with a population over 100 in the highest grade, very few of these ever seem to hit the market not one has been auctioned by Heritage over the last two years. I was able to procure this piece with subtle toning on E-Bay in September 2009. And I have no earthly idea why this coin carries such a high registry point value.
