Coin Description:
A supremely lustrous coin with an excellent strike for the date/mm despite the mushy steps. This is one of those coins where the obverse carried the grade. A no brainer MS67 obverse combined with an MS65/66 reverse. Regardless of the grading generosity, this coin does not fall short in the eye appeal category.

Comments:
I can't figure out for the life of me how a coin with a population of 8/0 has a price guide value of $100. There just are not droves of MS67 Jeffersons waiting to be certified. I was not willing to wait for one of the other 8 examples to hit the market and paid 3.5X Numismedia wholesale for a rather ordinary coin with respect to eye appeal and color. The coin was obtained in a no reserve E-Bay auction in October 2009.
