Owner's Description

If you are searching for the 1884 $3 gold piece and do not want to pay the uncirculated price, finding a circulated coin is extremely difficult. This date has the smallest number of slabbed coins in circulated grades of any $3 gold piece. NGC has only slabbed 16 pieces in circulated grades. It took me 12 years to find and purchase 2 AU-58 pieces.
