Owner's Description

1881 GSA SOFT PACK AU 55 NGC

In about 25 years of grading NGC has certified over 10,000 1881 Morgan Dollars in uncirculated condition. Yet, not a single example in a GSA soft pack received a mint state grade. This AU 55, which has just a little rub on the highest points is lightly toned on the obverse with a more intense golden color on the reverse. In a GSA soft pack it is surpassed by just a single example in the population report.
