Owner's Description
1878-CC GSA SOFT PACK MS 65 NGC
A very clean example of the first Morgan Dollar struck at the Carson City mint. Free of any distracting marks, the satin luster is clearly visible in the GSA soft pack. Light golden toning is seen, in particular on the obverse. The strike is strong and the eye appeal is excellent. Surpassed in the population report by only a single finer example graded by NGC in a GSA soft pack and there are none finer examples of a VAM 11.
