Owner's Description
Superb Full Bands 1935-D Dime, Unsurpassable at the Major Grading Services
1935-D 10C MS67 Full Bands NGC. As one might expect for a post-1931 Mercury Dime with a sizeable original mintage of 10.4 million pieces, the 1935-D is not a rare date in an absolute sense. The number of Superb Gems, however, is limited by striking softness that leaves many examples ill-defined in the centers and around the peripheries. On the other hand, this ice-white survivor is sufficiently bold around the rims with fully split, well rounded central crossbands. Untoned, and equally free of grade-limiting blemishes. NGC and PCGS have seen just eight examples at the MS67 Full Bands level, and none finer (7/02). (#4995)
