Owner's Description
Lot # 2581 Bowers and Merena Baltimore Auction, Dec 2005
1935 Texas Centennial. MS-68 (NGC).
Description: This incredible coin stands tall as one of the absolute finest certified 1935 Texas Centennial commemorative half dollars. Mint frost is rich and satin-like, complemented with a blush of delicate pink and pale green iridescence further enhancing the spectacular appearance of this highly important condition rarity. It looks flawless. There is a single ultra-microscopic dark speck on the eagle's breast. It is the ultimate certified grade.
NGC Census: 8 at this level; none finer.
