Owner's Description

Lyman Allen #14.07 (KM #171) - Mintage: 2,202,000

Beautiful coin for an MS62. Notice the filled upper and lower S loops in the word FILIPINAS. The dies for this coin were quite well worn when it was struck.

This coin is also the Normal "S" mint mark variety. The inverted "S" mint mark variety is actually more common. It also exhibits one of the common die breaks found in the word FILIPINAS. The upper and lower loops of the "S" in FILIPINAS are filled in.
