Owner's Description

Lyman Allen #9.02 (KM #181) - Mintage: 3,750,000

1938 was the second year that 10 Centavo coins were produced by the Manilla Mint bearing the Commonwealth reverse. This is the first year that the "M" mint mark appears as an inverted "W."

This coin exhibits above average luster and strike for Manila mint issues. A light rub and a few scratches on the obverse high points probably kept this con from attaining a higher grade.

Varieties: None cataloged for this year.

Date acquired: 5/7/2005 (raw coin)
Date graded: 8/7/2013 (self submitted to NGC)
