Owner's Description

Lyman Allen #9.01 (KM #181) - Mintage: 3,500,000

1937 was the first year that 10 Centavo coins were produced by the Manilla Mint bearing the Commonwealth reverse. This is the only year that the "M" mint mark with parallel vertical sides was used. It was changed to appear as an inverted "W" in 1938.

This coin exhibits average luster and a weak strike typical of Manila mint issues.

Varieties: None cataloged for this year.

Date acquired: 8/2/2005 (raw coin)
Date graded: 8/7/2013 (self submitted to NGC)
