Owner's Description

Lyman Allen #2.10 (KM #163) - Mintage: 3,001,000

The 1912S is a common coin, but uncirculated examples are difficult to obtain. Fully RD and RB examples are even more rare. The NGC population of this coin is 5 with only one finer at MS66BN.

The surfaces on this coin are virtually pristine and the color is really a darkly toned red as opposed to an uneven red brown mix. It is very well struck, and all of the devices are fully struck up and sharp. It is truly deserving of the MS65 grade.

Varieties: None cataloged for this date

Date acquired: 4/20/2014 (already graded by NGC)
