Owner's Description

Lyman Allen #2.08 (KM #163) - Mintage: 2,700,000

This issue is fairly easy to acquire, but high grade Red and RB examples are rare.

This particular coin is a well struck and exceptionally well preserved red brown example. The peripheral elements are exceptionally well struck with the hair, face and feet fully formed. The central elements however are quite softly struck with the fingers on both hands barely discernible. It has spectacular eye appeal and fits perfectly into my collection. As of this revision, there are only two finer graded by NGC at MS66RD.
