A single prooflike coin has been graded in the Ike series (a relatively recently graded coin). This coin is a Bicentennial Ike. Unfortunately, I do not yet own it. You will sometimes see Ikes with semi-prooflike fields – these coins are obviously attractive, but don’t quite meet the PL criteria.

One of these semi-prooflike coins is what I have had to settle for. It has semi-reflective mirrors, with light toning. The mark free surfaces are pristine and the strike is above average. This is an attractive coin, and just about as close to PL as I’m going to get for an Ike (for now!).
