Owner's Description

Another FiFA comemmaritive coin celebrating the World cup 2010 in South Africa. Don't quite understand the animals depicted on the obverse.. Two of the 3 are obviously the Lion and the Rhino. The 3rd looks more like a Blouwildebeest or even a black wildebeest (gnu) than a Cape Buffulo.

The idea is that the "Buffulo" and the rhino (after the golden statue found in Mapungubwe) represents the Limpopo province and the Lion represents Guateng. Not so sure what the Blouwildebeest represents (maybe hunting season).

Maximum mintage of 20 000.
