Owner's Description

The official mintage figures for this coin is quoted as a maximum of 1 982 however it is largely accepted that fewer than 500 sets were actually issued. This non-circulating coin is the 2nd in the Marine series and celebrates the magnificent apex predator found in our south African Coastline viz: The Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) is also known as the great white, white pointer, white shark, or white death.
