1837 GOLD HALF-SOVEREIGN MS 61
NGC 2814990-001
A beautiful example of this rare date. Apparently the obverse is cleaned, but the detail throughout the King's portrait is as bold as can be, and the reverse shield retaining an as-struck appearance.
Self-submitted, July 2017.
NGC Pop 1, Single finest.
