Owner's Description

Republic 2 Escudos, 1855-JB. NGC MS-62. San Jose mint, KM 99. Mintage of 60,000 pieces for both assayers of 1855. An attractive example with well-struck details on both sides and plenty of original mint luster. A choice coin with strong eye appeal. It is currently the second highest certified for the date by NGC and one of only two certified Mint State examples.
