Owner's Description

Mintage 43,984, Variety 23-O. A scarce coin in all grades. A nice strong mint mark like my 1850-C. In my opinion the piece has nice eye appeal in spite of the low grade and what look like laminations at 12 O'clock on the obverse. Purchased October 1986 in a Stack's auction, Photos show the coin prior to certification.
