Owner's Description

Mintage 34,920 and even though its mintage is almost four times that of the No Motto variety it is at least as rare if not rarer. Another transitional piece being the first year of the Liberty half eagle with the motto In God We Trust.. Purchased May 1992 from Coins Unlimited at the Georgia Numismatic Association show. Photos show the coin prior to certification.
