Owner's Description

Mintage a very low 9,000 pieces and rare in any condition. A transitional piece and the last no motto half eagle as the In God We Trust motto was added to the reverse later n the year. Purchased July 1981 from Georgia Stamp & Coin, Atlanta, GA. Photos show the coin prior to certification.
