Owner's Description

Mintage 47,465, prohibitively rare in grades higher than EF according to Breen. An old scratch in front on Ms. Liberty's profile and a die crack on the reverse from the A in STATES to the top of the eagle's beak and from the bottom of the wing to the right side of the R in AMERICA. Purchased August 1986 in a Coin Galleries mail bid sale. Photos show the coin prior to certification.
