Mintage 84,151, the largest mintage of any C-mint five, and it is overall among the most available,

Ex Heritage December 2013 Heritage Signature Auction where it was described as follows: 1847-C $5 XF45 PCGS. Variety 1. A green-gold Charlotte type coin that has luminous luster within the margins, shield, and coronet. Marks are inconsequential save for a single faded thin pinscratch above the date.
